Sorry
I got scoldings from Aunty Dawn for not updating Madison's webpage. I promise by the end of the week I'll have new pictures up...But for now, here's an update.
Madison is such a handful. She crawls all around and she'll do it so quick that we can't leave her alone for a minute! Once, Ryan left her for a second to get something in the kitchen and when he came back, Madison was crawling on our coffee table ready to grab anything and everything! I emptied out one of the shelves on our bookshelf because she enjoyed throwing the books onto the floor. Below her crib is a roll-away storage where we keep all her clothes. She enjoys taking out her clothes one by one and throwing it all over the place.
She stands really well...she can even stand on her own without holding onto something. When we ask her what sound the cow makes? She says "Mmmmmm." We'll say "Big Smile!" then she'll give us her biggest smile (the one where she shows all her teeth and she shuts her eyes). Ryan taught her to "raise the roof" (she'll throw both her arms in the air). What I really enjoy is singing to her when she's falling asleep because she'll hum along with me. SO CUTE!
Anyway, I do have pictures in my camera that needs to be downloaded onto the computer. As soon as I have time, I'll post more pictures!

I am 9 Months Old!
Madison is now 9 Months!
She weighs 17 lbs., 11 oz. (50th percentile)
29 1/2 inches tall (90th percentile)
The nurse pricked her heel to check her iron, and it's a little low. Doctor said breast-fed babies usually have lower iron than formula-fed babies because my milk can only produce so much iron. He wants her to take vitamins with iron and advised me to include meat in her meals to help increase her iron level. Other than that, she's a very healthy baby!! Oh, she put up a fight at the Doctor's office...she didn't like it when they were examining her. She screamed and wailed and gave us her "fake cry" then as soon as I picked her up she was fine.

Just a Memory
Who remembers Madison being this tiny? She was 5 weeks old when this clip was taken. Madison will be 9 months in a few days. Time is going by way too fast for us. Ryan & I are thankful that we have many pictures and video clips to remind us of how tiny and fragile she was. Now she's so rough and loud...such a titta!
Clap your hands!
For about 2 1/2 weeks now, Madison has been clapping her
hands. I don't have a picture of her standing, but she can
stand on her own for about 10 seconds.

I'm 8 months old!

Ever since she started crawling, she's been trying to crawl under our
coffee table. We never did let her. One day I decided to let her go.
She stayed under the table for about 3 minutes. She bumped
her head and wasn't able to watch TV comfortably so she crawled out
of it. Since then she's never had the desire to go
under the table again.

As long as there's something to grab onto, Madison will
climb onto her toys, the furniture, TV, etc...
Poor baby will bump her head at least 4 times a day
