UPDATE....

Ryan and I can't get over how fast time flies. Madison is now 7 months old. She has been fussy lately because of her teeth. This morning when I looked at her gums I can see her teeth barely showing. I'm still nursing her and I plan to continue till she's at least one. She does eat lunch and dinner which consists of different vegetables and brown rice. I tried giving her oatmeal with fruit for breakfast, but she doesn't care for it much. When she's 8 months I think I'll start adding meat to her meals.

Madison is NOT sleeping through the night. She'll get up around 2 to 3 times to eat. The Doctor said I should avoid feeding her because she should be able to sleep without being fed. I'll pat her or give her the pacifier but the only thing that'll soothe her is to nurse so why not? I can't find it in my heart to let her cry herself to sleep. Hopefully as she gets older she'll learn to sleep longer.

Madison loves it when we read to her. Her favorite are pop-up books. Her favorite shows to watch are Barney & Friends, Higglytown Heroes, Sesame Street and Baby Einsteins.

Now that she's sitting up on her own, she seems so independent. She tries her hardest to crawl and climb all by herself so we've got pillows all around her just in case...

Madison also knows how to open and close her hands when we tell her to. She can wave goodbye, she loves bouncing up and down and she loves playing Pat-A-Cake.

I do apologize for not posting pictures sooner, but Madison does keep us busy. She's come a long way from being that bola-head, colic, poop all over her body, 5 pounder baby to a very healthy and happy little girl!
